Oh, this was so good! I always attributed the social media and sweets binging to overwhelm, but maybe it's a mixture of both: overwhelmed by the lack of an enjoyable challenge that makes me feel like I'm growing and thriving. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, Maja. Your vulnerability is inspiring.

One thing that has been helpful for me on my journey is remembering this:

"Once we've awakened, we can never go back."

Essentially, once we've connected with ourselves intimately and become mindful of what nourishes us and what doesn't, we'll always return to that nourishment.

Sometimes, it just takes a little longer than we'd like :)

Enjoyed this. A lot of what you're saying resonates because my profession isn't something that is fulfilling or challenges me so i have always tried to find things outside of that to help fill the void. Idling is the worst and social media use will always be a big sign that i need to get moving again. Honestly, my kids help me keep the train on the tracks as i can't always be in my own head all the time.
